“I've gone through every type of hanger known to man and have decided that wire hangers are the way to go. Unfortunately, my search does not end with this hanger although it comes close to being everything I need. They are sturdy and can hold any garment you want to hang. These are not your lightweight wire hangers that come from the dry cleaners. On the other hand, they could be improved by adding with a rubberized liner to prevent slippage of clothing. Another issue is that there are some sharp edges on these hangers that can cut you and damage your clothing. For that reason, I ended up throwing out a few of them. They are worth the money and more sturdy than plastic, felt or standard wire hangers.”

“My fear was that the wire gauge would be too small and that the wire itself might be low quality and too soft. To the contrary the wire gauge is heavy for a coat hanger and stiff enough for even a heavy parka. Metal surface is coated with something silver and clean. I am sure if you consistently hang wet garments on these hangers you will sprout some corrosion - prices do not cover anodizing, plating, or epoxy paint. When you buy something on Amazon that is obviously sourced in China, it is definitely a gamble. These hangers are better than ones used by laundries and cleaners.
